On October 2nd 2005, the Brothers of Capitol 23 hosted a benefit concert to help fund the Angel Heart Children's Shelter of Plugerville TX.
Free chicken wings (and servers) were donated by the local Hooters Resturant, and all the bands donated their performances.

Here Brothers Ricky and Casey show off the Electric Guitar being raffled off to benefit Angel Heart.
They manned the IOOF booth at the anual Vintage Drag Races just south of Temple TX, soliciting donations and introducing young men to Odd Fellowship.
Special thanks goes to South Austin Music and the Kontinentals Car Club for helping with this raffle.
The winning ticket is to be drawn at the Continental Club, during Wanda Jackson's set on October 28th.
